The Pleiades is a cluster of stars in the constellation of Taurus. Skanda Sashti is the name given to the annual astronomical positioning of these 6 Stars that brings in to Earth plane, the Power of 6.
Beginning on the day after the New Moon in October-November, and continuing through to the 6th day of the Waxing Moon, you can readily connect and utilize the energy from the Pleiades. This annual event occurs from October 27th to November 1st IST this year.

The Golden Age is also referred to as the Age of Light, the New Age and the Satya Yuga or Age of Truth.
There is a photon belt, or electromagnetic cloud of light, around the Pleiades which scientists discovered as far back as 1961. Our Sun is said to complete one orbit in the Plieades system every 24,000 years, during which time we spend alternatively 10,000 years in the dark and 2,000 years int he photon light; aka The Kali Yuga and the Satya Yuga respectively. We are currently in the Kali Yuga, the Dark Age or the Age of Ignorance.
During 2012, the Sun, Earth and Alcyone, a Pleiadian star, will be in alignment resulting in more of the photon light entering the Earth plane. Thereafter, it is predicted that the Pleiadian energy will be responsible for the transformation of the planet and of the genetic evolution of the human species.
We are already being bombarded with the initial photon particles, or rather light rays, but we cannot see them. They vibrate outside of our visible light spectrum. We need to take advantage of this opportunity as currently Earth is vibrating at a very low level and all who inhabit her are suffering. The light speeds up our vibration to match that of higher consciousness where everything and anything is possible. Bottom line is that we can have a new reality.
We need to catch up to at least the speed of light otherwise our problems of depression, lack, and suffering will continue.
